Posted by admin on May 12th, 2007
A great news for all Google earth users. Ethnic sounds (right from the brazilian rain forest to arctic ice sheets) will now accompany the location-sighting venture on google Earth. As we know Google Earth is a virtual program that was originally called Earth Viewer. It maps the earth by the superimposition of images obtained from satellite imagery etc.
According to Times Of India a California-based company wild sanctuary created this software with the objective of bringing the world alive. It will make virtual visitors more aware of the impact of human activity on the environment as the recording of sounds of birds, animals, leaves movements with air is considered in it. Users will also be able to hear various modern day sounds at a particular location. It is planned to have the software ready with 26 sounds on demonstration on may 29. So let’s wait and watch…….
