A great news for all Google earth users. Ethnic sounds (right from the brazilian rain forest to arctic ice sheets) will now accompany the location-sighting venture on google Earth. As we know Google Earth is a virtual program that was originally called Earth Viewer. It maps the earth by the superimposition of images obtained from satellite imagery etc.
According to Times Of India a California-based company wild sanctuary created this software with the objective of bringing the world alive. It will make virtual visitors more aware of the impact of human activity on the environment as the recording of sounds of birds, animals, leaves movements with air is considered in it. Users will also be able to hear various modern day sounds at a particular location. It is planned to have the software ready with 26 sounds on demonstration on may 29. So let’s wait and watch…….

You must have experienced gmail login problem especially for low speed connections which usually occur in a dial up connection. Sometimes the gmail login screens gives an error instead of opening the Gmail Page. Well to make your login into gmail faster even with low speed, You can use HTML version of gmail instead of standard version directly from http://mail.google.com/mail/h/ or you can also try gmail mobile version http://m.gmail.com. In case GMail access is blocked on certain PC (mostly happens in schools), you can overcome this problem by using https://www.gmail.com instead of http://www.gmail.com.

Google TiSP (BETA) is among one of the pranks played by google almost every year in April. Well to talk about TiSP, it provides in-home wireless access by connecting your commode-based TiSP wireless router to one of thousands of TiSP Access Nodes via fiber-optic cable strung through your local municipal sewage lines. TiSP stands for the Toilet Internet Service Provider. Google TiSP project is a self-installed, ad-supported online service that will be offered entirely free to any consumer with a WiFi-capable PC and a toilet connected to a local municipal sewage system. Google TiSP takes advantage of preexisting plumbing and sewage systems and their related hydraulic data-transmission capabilities for delivering data from local networks into individual homes. Full home self-installation kit is provided to the users who sign up online for the TiSP system. Google TiSP would be a good product for those users who do much of their best thinking in the bathroom……..lolzzz. To learn more about Google Tisp installation you can click here http://www.google.com/tisp/

An average Googler would probably spend some time navigating through pages in Google, but not anymore, thanks to Google Auto Pager and Google Image Auto Pager. These two are Greasemonkey script for firefox which saves you from the hassle of paging through search results. Google Auto Script automatically attach the next set of results of your queries to the bottom of the page. That means you don’t have to hit the next button after navigating to the end of the results.
Similarly, when you do a google images search and scroll down towards the bottom of search results, this script will seamlessly retrieve the next set of images, display them on the same page and rewrite all the links to point directly to origin images.
You can install the Google Auto pager and Google Images Auto Pager Userscript from
http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/8430.user.js and
http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/8433.user.js respectively.
And then to activate these script you just have to do a doubleclick anywhere on the page http://www.google.com and http://images.google.com, another doubleclick will turns off the script.

You are always preffered for making your search content or query in google to be as short in length as it can. Generally google performs the searches based on the first 10 words of your query. Here are some cool tricks to make your search more effective:
FUZZY SEARCH - The relevent keywords for your queries are searched by google. For example if you go for a search of ~music player then the google will look for music player, mp3 player, audioplayer etc.
STOP WORDS SEARCH: These are the similar or common words that could be ignored by the google search. But if you want to include these kind of words then use a ‘+’ ( plus sign).
DEFINITION SEARCH : If you want to find just the definition of any word then write in this format define:query. Google will show you all the definitions of the word or query you entered present on the web.
PAGE TITLE SEARCH: Using the format allintitle:query, Google willgives back to you all the pages consisting your query as a keyword in their title.
DOMAIN SEARCH: You can also get restricted to specified domain names using the format site:query.
